As you may have noticed, we are a portable church, meaning we set up and tear down the church services every single week. This means that we are always in need of volunteers! Even if you can only give one hour, we'll find a job for ya. Whether you can help run the computer during the main service, or you would like to help set up the children's ministry room, we have a position that's just right for you!

First Steps is an informal, no-strings-attached gathering for those interested in learning the basics of making a decision to follow Christ for the first time.  "First Steps" utilizes short films and stories and sheds light on key Bible passages designed to help people begin their journey with Jesus.  Sign up now by clicking here!

One of the marks of a good team is unity. Being on the same page, connected, together. Towards that end we do monthly Summits where we just get together and talk youth ministry around a table of food and good friends. Our purpose will be to grow our team into more of a family that does ever improving, mission-driven youth ministry together. A YL Summit is a time for us to get together and talk youth ministry, worship, celebrate stories of our youth growing in Christ, get training, get to know each other and just enjoy being a team! We'll bring Sardi's chicken and you guys bring sides.

Looking for a place where you can talk about life as a teenager and see how God can make a difference in it? Need a place to vent? To talk and be heard? That's our small group program called "FLOW Groups". Great stuff for middle and high school youth! Our upcounty group meets 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Wednesdays from 7-9pm. See you there!

Interested in volunteering at JC's Reel Water Film Festival?  We'd love to hear from you!  No matter what your time constraints may be or how much experience you may or may not have, we want to talk to you.  Come out to this volunteer interest meeting and find out about all of the great opportunities we have for you to get involved.  We welcome volunteers of all ages--we'll find a place for you!

As a member or regular attender of Journey's Crossing, you are called to be the leaders in your church through encouragement, involvement, and service. Are you ready for your next step of faith? Baptism is the biblical next step of faith for those on the journey to following Jesus. If you've never taken this step on your own, we invite you to do so! This is open to anyone - kids, teens, and adults.   

 

We'll start the night with a few words from our Outreach Pastor, Darin Brown about why baptism is an important step on the spiritual journey, then we'll complete the baptisms and close by celebrating with food and fellowship.  Invite your friends and family...it's a party!
